Continuing Education Programme

 

Under the umbrella of Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology Continuing Education Programme (CEP) was established in 1997. CEP not only facilitated the students to update their knowledge but also equipped them to match the future educational need and provide in them awareness of their potential contribution to the society. Under CEP more than 400 students have been qualified for Microsoft Systems Engineering certification & more than 100 students have been qualified for Microsoft System Engineering + Internet. Certification for 233 participant of Java,50 Participants for .NET programming and 50 participant for CISCO have since been achieved. Total 8500 person have since been participated in the short Courses since launched by CEP.

 

Updating of the knowledge

 
        • Another purpose of Continuing Education Programme is to arrange short courses/Seminars to disseminate such knowledge which updates the abilities of the graduates, who are already working in a field. Courses and Seminars for this purpose are specially designed and scheduled in the evening and on Sundays to enable the Engineers and other technical persons in the field to attend them without any problem. The details of individuals benefited though Continuing Education by this time are as under:
 
        • 400 students have completed Courses, Training and Preparation for Microsoft Certified System Engineer” (MCSE)
 
        • 100 students have completed Training and Preparation for Microsoft Certified System Engineer + Internet Certification (MCSE+I)
 
        • 3000 students have completed training and qualified for Java Programming.
 
        • It is another distinction of Sir Syed University that it started JAVA Programming for the first time in Pakistan on very large scale with the result that more than 3400 students have been enrolled in JAVA Programming. After every three months a new course of JAVA Programming started by CEP. Every Programme attracts a large number of students.
 
        • The Continuing Education Programme is rendering great service to the nation by promoting new IT techniques among the individuals who can not pursue a course on regular basis.
